About the program

What is the Fab Academy program?

Fab Academy is a six-month, hands-on program in digital fabrication. Students learn rapid prototyping by planning and executing a new project every week, documenting their process, and building a personal portfolio of technical skills.

The program is built on learning by making — where technology is not just studied, but used to create.

How it works

Fab Academy uses a distributed model.

Local

Students learn locally at Fab Lab Armenia in Dilijan, with mentors and machines.

Global

Connect globally through weekly lectures and shared documentation, joining a worldwide community of makers.

Regional hub

Fab Lab Armenia also serves as a regional hub for Fab Academy, welcoming students from Armenia and across the region.
